President's Message

Dear Fellow Fresno County Citizens,

As President of the Fresno County Deputy Probation Officers Association (FCDPOA), and on behalf of our entire membership, I would like to express my sincerest appreciation for your ongoing support for all the law enforcement departments throughout our country. It’s precisely because of people like you that we took an oath to serve and protect our great county. Whom through the labors of its citizens, feeds the entire state, nation, and world.

Our community has changed so much over the past few years and it will continue to change, especially as we dive deeper into this technologically advanced age. We always want to remain transparent when communicating with members of the community, which we hope will help in creating a more robust relationship built on trust and understanding. Not only do we welcome your feedback, we encourage it; in fact, there is nothing we value more. By reaching out and actively engaging with our community, we honestly feel like we can make a positive difference in peoples’ lives.

The FCDPOA consists of the finest sworn officers in the Probation profession, all of whom have taken an oath to maintain the peace and safety of the citizens, while also upholding the highest of moral standards. You can rest easy knowing that each and every day, we are working diligently to build a safe and prosperous environment for everyone regardless of race, color, or creed.

Our members are more than just Probation Officers - they are husbands and wives, fathers and mothers, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, sponsors, coaches, and members and leaders of their churches. They are just as much a part of the community as you or I or anyone else that resides in Fresno County. Therefore, they have a vested interest in keeping our neighborhoods safe from harm’s way, because at the end of the day, all that matters is getting home to our loved ones.
