Who We Are
About Us
The Fresno County Deputy Probation Officers Association was founded in 2004 and represents more than 190 sworn peace officers who conduct a diverse range of roles, including court services, juvenile supervision, adult supervision, AB109 realignment, victim advocacy, and training.
The officers we represent serve a county of more than 1 million people -- the 10th most populous county in the state -- and use rehabilitative services and supervision to provide opportunity to change lives, support victims, and protect the community.
Our association stands in solidarity with these peace officers, while ensuring that each of our members does their jobs with our core values of professionalism, integrity, compassion, and dedication in mind.
We ensure fair representation based on the Peace Officers Bill of Rights and collectively bargain with Fresno County for fair wages, benefits, and working conditions for our members. Our association is also a member of the Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC) and State Coalition of Probation Organizations (SCOPO).
Through these organizations, our association engages elected officials and community stakeholders to advocate for our members and our vocation.
The FCDPOA realizes its nothing without the support of the Fresno County community, and we actively support charitable causes through financial contributions and member involvement. We're humbled of the trust you've entrusted our members, and we strive every day to serve the public with professionalism, integrity, compassion, and dedication.
